Olympic Airlines flies to many of the Greek Islands, including Santorini, Mykonos, Corfu, Rhodes, Mytilini(Lesvos), Crete- Chania and Heraklion, Paros, Samos Leros and many more. If you are traveling back to Athens to catch a flight back to the US(or anywhere else in the world), I would recommend arriving in Athens at least one day early as strikes and/or bad weather could delay your flight back to Athens.

I usually recommend that visitors spend the last days of their trip exploring Athens to ensure that they do not miss their return flight.

Olympic Airlines offers flights from many European cities to Athens. The fares are comprable to most other European Airlines. If you compare, sometimes you'll find that Olympic has the best fares and other times you may find something better on other airlines. It usually pays to shop around a little.

I've found that sometimes Olympic offers surprisingly low one way fares to different European cities, so don't discount the option of a one way ticket because you think it might be expensive....check it out first. Fares and rates are changing constantly so what is not available today, may become available tomorrow... and vice versa.

The international flights are often competitive with other airlines but you should do some checking out and comparison. As with all airlines, their fares and rates are constantly changing so don't assume that because you checked it once and it was high, it will be high the next time.
